Hi. I’m Guy Lawrence, and this is two powerful ingredients to help you achieve anything in your life. These two ingredients are what work for me.
The first one is gratitude. Why? Because when we come from a place of gratitude, we start to see the world differently, and if we start to see the world differently, we can start to make choices more aligned to the things that we want. But, when we’re in a stress response, you can’t be in gratitude, and most people, believe it or not, spend their day in a stress response, don’t make rational decisions.
The second most powerful ingredient for me is that you have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. You have to start to know where your edges are and keep leaning in. From doing that, you will start to grow, you will start to adapt, and you will start to get familiar with positions from going on because if you start listening to the monkey mind and all the justifications for not taking action, the moment you start finding those edges, you’re going to slowly start retreating back. Get comfortable and justify the actions that you are not taking on a daily basis.
Gratitude supports discomfort, I promise you. Think of atrophy. Think of going to the gym. You get uncomfortable if you haven’t trained for a while. You’ve got to get fit. Well, you’ve got to get fit for success, too. So, there are my two most powerful ingredients. Let me know how you go.
